Rutland Health Primary Care Network (PCN) will be taking part in delivering Covid Vaccines this Spring. The campaign runs from 15th April 240 and continues until 30th June 2024.

The vaccination will be offered to all eligible patients who are: –

  • Aged 75 years and older.
  • Living in a care home.
  • Aged 6 months and older with a weakened immune system.

Patients who are eligible will be contacted via Text or Telephone over the coming weeks.

What if I am housebound?

Rutland Health PCN are organising visits to all patients who are registered housebound or living in a registered care home. Patients and care homes will be contacted to arrange specific visit dates.

My family speak on my behalf, will they be contacted?

If you have a preferred contact (a family member or friend) who has consent and is recorded on your GP record, we will contact this person to update them about your appointment.

What if I am poorly on the day of my vaccination?

If you are unwell on the day of the vaccination, please call your GP surgery, a Patient Services Team advisor will inform the vaccinator.  You will be contacted at a later date to rearrange.

The NHS have created ‘A guide to the spring 2024 COVID-19 vaccination campaign’. This will be handed to every patient after they have had their vaccination.
